Just thought I would enlighten any others who have this setup or are looking into it.
I absolutely love this handgun in 9mm, but was interested in saving a bit of $$ for range practice.

Since I bought the 22lr conversion kit, I've been having issues with the installation of the slide.
I purchased the handgun and conversion kit within the same week (the SRT kit comes later).
From time to time, I noticed that the 22lr slide would have issues going onto the MK25 lower, and if any force was used to full seat it the gun would decock.
I tried playing around with the take-down lever, wiggling the barrel around, etc and none of it helped.
My solution to the issue was to swap the 9mm slide back on (it never has issues getting seated), rack it a bunch of times, flip the take-down lever up and down a few times, and occasionally dry fire it.
After that, swapping back to the 22lr slide often would go on without a hitch (or I would have to repeat the steps with the 9mm slide).

Shortly after buying this handgun, I found an SRT kit, ordered it up and installed it.
Never had an issue with the SRT kit on its own, works flawlessly and is an awesome addition.
However, the SRT kit changed the above issue with the 22lr slide...instead of the slide hitting a point that would decock the gun, it was now hitting a point and refusing to go further.
I've got images attached that show how far back the slide would go until it hit this jamming point.
Tried all the solutions previous, and again the only thing that would correct this was the solution with the 9mm slide.

FINALLY after taking this thing apart and looking at every connecting piece...I found the problem.
The SRT safety lever (and original safety lever)...at times does not drop down and will remain poking up.
On the 22lr slide it seems to be catching and stopping the slide from moving any further back.
On the 9mm slide, it seems to seat just fine and no issues whatsoever.

I remember lubing the SRT safety lever and it's still sitting in there pretty freely to move and wiggle...but sometimes it just decides to stay poking up.
I searched everywhere for a similar problem / setup and found nothing...so I figured I would throw this up on here in case anyone ever experiences a similar problem.

The only other issue I am having with the 22lr conversion kit, is that once it is seated on the lower the take-down lever sometimes wont budge unless you wiggle the barrel around.
I found that issue to be pretty common as others with the conversion kits have posted similar issues/solutions online.

Good info. I have a classic 22(not a conversion) that has the same problem. Firstly mine has srt, so i decock as im pulling off slide(as soon as your able to). When removing or replacing slide, pistol unloaded, push on barrel(in some cases guide rod works as well) so as to keep lockup between slide and barrel. Extractor tends to push barrel out causing the interference issue.
