Just thought you guys might like to see my new P226 in .40 S&W. I've wanted a pistol for a long time and after 8 years I finally went for it. I originally wanted the equinox but it doesn't have the SRT and the beavertail frame. I may change the grips to the black aluminum ones because I think they would look nicer but for now I'll just enjoy shooting it!

Took it to the range last week and I shot it side by side with some polymer framed pistols and I'll tell you I am sure glad I didn't buy any of those! Absolutely love this gun! Very happy with the purchase!

I've got a Platinum too, I LOVE it. It has all the features you could want. I got rid of my aluminum grips, I don't like the feel of aluminum at all, they're thin but uncomfortable and after extended shooting they hurt my hands with their rough texture.

Hogue rubber flat pannels all the way!!

When I first got the gun I thought my hands were too small and I would have to change the grips or the trigger but to be honest I never noticed it at the range..... My first 100 rounds were more accurate and consistent with this gun compared to any other pistol I have ever shot!
