Hi guys - I'm looking for recommendations as to whom could could upgrade my triggers for a shorter grip or reset (I have small hands) and some misfiring issues on my P226 MK25's. I'm located in Ottawa.

I'm thinking thinner grips and short reset trigger will help the small hands issue.

As for the misfires, I'm using good ammo and in a mag of 10, approximately 40% of the rounds won't go off..
Same ammo works perfect in other pistols. Trying to figure out if my springs are too used? I have about 5000 rounds out of each gun...
Both are doing the same thing.

Thoughts or insight?

Thank you.

Contact MD Charlton. They ought to set you good.

Might be time to clean out that firing pin channel, change out the mainspring and switch to E2 grips.

The misfires might be from your slide not fully going into battery. Many things can cause this like dirty gun, not enough lube, weak/worn recoil spring or your thumb riding the slide. Most SIGs the hammer won't drop if it's out of battery but if your trigger bar is worn, it will.

You are due for a new recoil spring for sure. Check with MD Charlton--they have armorers on staff who could easily check the wear items, and make the modifications you mention.

Mine seems to have the odd issue too if the primers are hard. I clean the firing pin channel with break clean and that seems to help. 5000 rds is not that many but mine needed some springs at that round count too. MD Charlton will definitely be able to sort that for you and they're pretty quick too.
