Any p320 people here? Looking to potentially trade my m17 slide assembly to something shorter. Not sure if the m18 would make the grip and barrel flush or if it'd even work?

It's been awhile since I've posted on a forum, feeling big time young again 🤣

Problem is the threaded barrel for the M18 isn't shorter than the non threaded barrel in the M17. If you look up photos of a Canadian M18 you can see how much the threaded barrel sticks out past the slide. If you don't mind the look then a swap is about $500 usd for a M18 slide and threaded barrel

Wait so we can't get a flush barrel??? I thought the m18 was a flush barrel/slide combo :(

I'm going to have to look into this. I was planning on potentially swapping someone

So when I look online I see it as a flush mount? So if I just find a non threaded m18 slide assembly it should achieve my goal, no?

The flush M18 is too short. It does not meet the legal requirements and Sig did not make a 'Canadian' barrel like Gock did so the only option is the factory threaded barrel. You may be able to find a after market barrel that is long enough with out the threading but it still will not sit flush with the slide.

Whatcha got rambones?

Dang pirate that's a total bummer. I really love that flush look. Typical canada I guess.

LanceJ - are you talking about just a flush slide / frame fit? The M18 frame and slide are flush but to be legal in Canada you would need a threaded barrel.

To the best of my knowledge the shortest length barrel for the P320 in Canada is the 4.6" threaded barrel for M18. The M17 has a 4.7" barrel. The M18 and M17 have the same frame so the M18 slide will be flush with the frame. Maybe we can convince Dlask to do a run of 4.2" non threaded "Kanadian" P320 barrels?

I would be interested in this if so... our rules are ridiculous and make no sense to me.

But gdawg I guess you're right. However I don't mind that look actually. Wish the barrel was flush too
