P320 tungsten slug inserts

Hello,

has anyone added tungsten to their p320 without buying the SIG heavy module for $400+?

I came across this, slug inserts https://shootingsportsinnovations.com/x5-tungsten-slug/ which look like a decent way to add a bit of weight.

in one of the reviews, it mentions that there are also tungsten guide rods. They dont sell them, but available somewhere else I guess.

Instead of a tungsten insert for $200, there's a couple cheaper way's too add 3ozs .
Tungsten guide rod
get an old Pic mounted light, or a cheap airsoft knockoff and fill it with lead shot.

I have a wilson combat grip module on mine and added the 3 tungsten weights. The two of those together was about $150, considerably less than those slugs. The WC is also far superior to the sig module. I also added a fat stainless steel guide rod which adds weight, though tungsten guid rods are available as well.

With buying gun "parts" out of the USA, is there any restrictions for stuff ike this

Usually a safe bet too order from Brownells. Downside is it might sit awhile at customs. Usually the smaller shops or Companies wont export out of country. There are exceptions so you'll have too ask.

AFAIK, the manufacturer must be registered, the exporter must be registered, and - depending upon the part(s) - the export must be declared or permitted.

So it wouldn't be legal for your average Joe to export 'gun parts', but it would be legal for a U.S. based registered exporter to do it, provided that they follow the regulations.

Brownells and Numrich are both registered exporters.

Save your cash for now and spend a little time learning how to shoot. Weighted parts aren’t the thing a new shooter needs to shoot well. It’s all about solid fundamentals. Your Glock thread made a reference to you shooting iron sights better than a dot. Your fundamentals are messed up. PM me. I can do a video session with you to show you a solid grip. No charge.

I actually called them. They said when they put 4-6 weeks that means they have no eta

100% have bad noobie fundamentals. I think Id like to take you up on that offer.
