Well.... I've been back and forth a hundred times over which pistol to pick up. Read reviews on both.. all seem to go one way or the other or a draw. Mag prices for the HK can be an issue and availability of mags as well as a holster. In the long run though...mag prices don't add up to much more. Both saeem like nice options..... Thoughts?

hk. I've shot both and the trigger was much better on the sfp9, if that's an important feature for you. I also shot more accurately with the SFP9 vs the P320 out of the box. To be honest, I did not spend days with each pistol and only shot a few mags with each one. It was still enough for me to say that I preferred the SFP9 over the P320 and would have bought it over the other. The PPQ is another option to consider and is equal if not better in than the SFP9 in areas.

I have no experience with the P320 so I probably shouldn't be commenting.

But the SFP9 is an awesome pistol. The trigger/build quality is amazing and I love the paddle style mag release.

For me,i like the ergos better, trigger on mine i like better, easier to find parts just for a quick review.

A lot of people have different likes and dislikes of course, boils down to what fits the shooter better :)

For me the p320 wins

Handled the ppq 5" model, trigger is awesome, but the grip profile fits weird in my hand

I've owned both (currently just own the SFP9)—I posted my thoughts on the P320 here and the SFP9 here. I actually preferred the trigger on the P320, and I greatly preferred the P320's grip texture (the SFP9 always feels a little slippery to me). The bore axis on the P320 is noticeably higher, but muzzle flip was not objectionable. The SFP9's replaceable panels allow me to get a very comfortable fit, and I was more initially accurate with it, although I have not shot either all that much. The P320's plastic seemed a little more easily marked than the SFP9's. My sense is that the SFP9 is probably a better pistol...but I kinda miss my P320.

Maybe it's just me....I really want to love Hk...I just find their grips awkward...I'm on my second, find the grip too short, even with the mag in..and blocky...fit and finish is what you would expect...beautiful...

Which HK do you have? The P30L and the SFP9 has the interchangeable back and side panels.

I fired both and I own the H&K. SOLELY CANADIAN makes great affordable holsters in Canada. I went with the competition model. Very happy. Lots of P30 mags around for the H&K but they are not as cheap. But you only buy them once.
