With all the hype lately surrounding the safety failure of the SIG P320, I thought that I would investigate myself. I have a relatively new P320 with about 100 rounds through it. I took my gunsmith hammer with a polymer head and waked the back of the P320 several time but I couldn't get it to fire. I even dropped it from a good height several times and it still wouldn't fire. It makes you wonder if this issue is restricted to a few P320s as it certainly can't be an issue with all P320s

From what i have seen on the net, it looks like 2 out of 3 would go off after being dropped in just the right angle. Yours may be the 1 out of 3 that doesn't fire that way or you have not replicated the angle they used.
