I had the pleasure of introducing some members of my pistol club to these fine pistols. I even fired a couple bullseye centerfire rounds with them.

The only auto I like better than a High Power is the P210 and the military ones are the best of the lot. According to Jane's the 210 was adopted by the swiss army in 1949 and by the dane's shortly after. There was a special model the P210-4 for the west german border police. It almost makes me feel sorry for the americans thinking the 1911 is the be all and end all of autopistols. The leather on those holsters looks perfect. I could go on and on.

These pistols are truly functional works of art. It amazes me that any country actually issued them - must have been before the dumpster dive mentality known as Low-Bid took over. Kinda makes you miss the old days.

QUOTE: From the GUN DIGEST BOOK OF 9mm HANDGUNS, Pg. 138

"With a few rare exceptions, the authorities who evaluate and rate the automatic pistols of today's well-armed world all proclaim the SIG 210 to be the best automatic pistol produced anywhere".

Goes on to asy that it is a very expensive pistol to produce, and not well known, that because of Govt. policy, not many Swiss pistols leave the country. In evaluating 50 different pistols for accuracy, in this boook the 210 comes out on top, consistently producing 1.5" groups.
