I was just browsing Wolverine's site, and they are announcing that the P7M13 is done production effective immediately. I'm sure glad mine is in transit as I type.

I left my deposit, but who knows? I'm going to take a wild guess and say that the price of accessories just went to becoming near impossible, or, price prohibitive, to get. Well, at least I managed to buy the pistol at the right time, so I guess I should quit b****ing.

Yeah, 2 mags for this thing is really all you need. It is not the sort of pistol you would shoot in competition anyway. Look at it this way... the value of your used unit just went up. The M8s are done too after this next "anniversary" run. The M13s were already discontinued once before. I don't even know why they bothered with this small AG date coded run.

I suppose if the need is there, they will probably always fill it. All I know is that I want a P7M8 next. I still need 3 mags for the 13 though. One for sure, but I would like two spares.

The M8 is toast according to TSE (and Wolverine has had none for ages). They are doing another "anniversary" run for 2007, and that is it. The P7 series is Kaput.

Any details about this anniversary run? Is it another special edition likke the Jubilee?

From what I have heard HK is using up the last of their P7 materials to make the last lot of P7's. This has been going on for over 2 years, but it is near the end now.

Rumour has it that they will be out in December, and will be the same as the last run of Jubilees. There won't be many. But, rumours are always flying with HK, and they actually never make an official press release about these things. They'll make as many or as few as they want.

The reason why they keep making small runs I suspect is because they are not a big seller. I can't remember the exact details, but the serial number of my 1995 dated P7M13 was 92248, so you can work out how many per year they've made from that based on the serial number of a new one.

They stopped importing them into the US in 1994 because of the AW ban, so the numbers sold since then have been tiny.

highly overpriced like all HK stuff but one of my favorite pistols ever. The M13 has the nicer grip for my handsize but th estupid mags (capacities) make the M8 a better deal. Especially when you buy spare mags.

If a person was to find a used M8, what could he expect for pricing?

Prices are all over the board.

I sold one for $1795 in January. It was in mint condition with two mags. Saw another go for $1700 in very good condition with a 1980s date code. Saw another sell for $1400 with six mags, but it was registered as 12(6). TSE had some brand new ones for $1600, but they are all gone.

If you can find one in the mid teens, then that would be a good buy.
