I finally got a chance to run 200 + rounds in an inaugural visit to the range to do some bonding with my new walther - all german military OD green.
I am new to pistols and look forward to mastering the skill required to shoot accurately at further distances. The pistol had no hiccups - I fed it the cheapest ammo I could find Winchester white box...
no FTE or FTF.
The test target it came with places me at about 30% shooting capability as the german worker that signed off on it. (he shot a 5 shot 1.75" group at 25m group too)
Where can I get the best pricing on 40 cal ammo in either Cowtown or Edmonchuck. I can see myself easily doin 300 rounds per visit which isn;t so bad but its the frequency of how often I want to get out which is likely to be the $$ aspect.
Where do you guys buy your 40 cal ammo and how much do you pay?
Also where does your p99 rank in your pistol collection?
