P99 Owners

Question to all those that have a P99, did you encounter any issues in removing the retaining pin to change the grips? I'm having some tough luck in removing the pin. When I bought the gun new, it came with what looks like a yellow mini punch. In the manual it says to use a 4MM punch, is this it?

nop. yellow pin is for mag disassembly. you'll need steel punch to knock the roll pin out to replace the grip.

I've successfully used the yellow pin to do it, but technically roll pin punch is better.

Another vote for roll pin punch. The yellow pin punch will do the job, probably. But if it gets marred, then it makes slide teardowns prone to scratches.
