For the Remington 7600. Do they (did they?) still make them? Can't find anything on their website.

Shouldn't it be the same wood as on an 870? I thought the 7600 and 870 wood was the same.

I"ve never seen one fit all that well, and then the stock length is usually wrong. A gunsmith will usually fit a pad for about $50, and the grind to fit Pachmahrs are a little cheaper. It's a small price to pay to do it right.

limbsaver makes one for that gun. I'd go that route if you want pre-fit. They work well.
