I have an option to buy a pacific single stage (turret style) 12 ga press.

How much is reasonable to offer?

All the dies etc are there, powder and shot thrower.......

Seems to be in fairly good shape.

Actual model would help big time. Remember Pacific was bought out by Hornady and many of the parts used on the older presses are also used on the current Hornady models, however many are not pending model so some are not worth much.

Looks like a quality machine. Also looks like it uses current Hornady bushings.

If you haven't already done so, check out the reloading forum on shotgun world
 
I have one with dies for 12 and 20 ga. good press as long as your not shooting a lot of rounds of trap or skeet. Make my own bushings out of aluminum.
 
I'm not planning on running a bunch of ammo through this thing..... To be honest as long as I can buy trap loads at around $60/case I don't think it will get set up, at least not for trap loads......

I plan to load slugs with it. I have a lee 1 oz slug mold and I plan on casting my own slugs.

Needless to say I bought the darn thing, he was looking to get $75 for it, I even paid the asking price!

I was actually looking for a lee hand shot shell die set.......

I just picked up a DL-155 for the same price. Seems like a rather decent price for a functional single stage press. Have you done much with yours yet?
