Looking for info and picture of this...
PACK WEST ARMS COMMANDO, SEMI-AUTO, .223 REM, 11 1/2" BBL, COLT COMMANDO COPY
Can anyone tell me anything about it ?

I believe they were taken over by RRA, their stuff was in spec. as far as I have seen in the products I owned, only real complaint was the cast lowers(what this mean to those of us deploying to Op-Starbucks I don't know) however there were never any function issues associated with them, these were/are very good quality rifles. We refinished and removed all the casting lines from one of my lowers at Hunter's and it turned out real nice...wish I had kept it. Epps has one which I have pics of I can foreward and I think Hotnix has my old one. If had the extra bucks I would get the one FNC1 has on this board.

Pwa

As noted above. Still one for sale at Ellwood Epps. Stopped in Sat. jan 04/06. (Sorry,as noted below, its on hold)

I have owned a factory 11.5" PWA "Commando" carbine for the past 7 years or so. Plenty of rounds down-range, and never an issue. I have a Smith Arms muzzle-brake on it, which makes the carbine feel like a .22 LR but really annoys everyone around me......

The Pac-West Arms carbine is every bit as nice (both inside and out) as my factory Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II. The PWA is in an entirely different league than the horribly crude "Olympic" rifles that I have encountered over the years. The PWA is very nicely executed. The Olympics are crude junk in comparison.

Just one guy's first-hand impressions....
