Here's a question for those in the know about hunting/wilderness regs in BC.
I may be headed to the kootenay area in early september to do some backcountry camping (outside of a park). In some of these areas I know the bow and youth season for some species start as early as September 1.
Can I still pack my shotgun or rifle for bear defense? Or will any CO who comes across me see I have no hunting licence and assume I'm a poacher?
Thanks.
