I have the 3 tool set from Paco Kelly, the messing around that you can do to cheap 22 ammo can often give amazing results. I love the nastinose tool that enlarges the hollow point in HP ammo. The cool thing about it is you can make the HP as big as you want. I just love that nasty THWAP that an enlarged HP makes on a gopher. If you have a BRNO or any of the very accurate rifles you are not going take cheap ammo and make them even more accurate, the accurizer will take ammo the groups poorly and tighten things up some what. Got me thinking there Faststeel, bigger hollow makes lighter faster bullet and would blow up on gopher-goo better. Think I'll get one.

cyclone, Fassteel, where are you getting these from? His site says shipping to the lower 48 included but he won't answer my emails as to any extra shipping costs. I have a Savage/Anshutz single shot that I think would love one of these as it is very picky about its prefered ammo.

I used mine with the Federal American Eagle 38gr Hp ammo and I made several hundred enlarged hollow points. Now I only ever used them in my bolt guns, of which I have many. I loaned mine to a friend who went right out and lost it, then found it 6 months later. Be nice if he sent it back some time soon. FS

I think you have to send him a money order in US funds, then tell him which rifle you plan to resize the ammo for, bingo bango bongo, 3 weeks later the kit is in your mail box. Paco Kelly is the only place that sells this exact tool.
There some other pieces of gear out there that do similar enhancements, but I like the Paco. FS

Totally missed the question  - but it's pretty much just like Fassteel said :yingyang: - just be aware that while Paco may take some time to answer, he's come-through like a real gentleman about my questions and even about replacing pieces (for free, no less!)....:)

I've been meaning to order one of these for years but never seem to get around to it. If you're on a budget you can always do the pen trick.

We're close to "par" now on the F/X ;), and the newest models are pretty nice-looking...:)

But the "pen trick" is also pretty cool....:p

Got my tool back in the mail a couple days ago and went right to it, couple boxes of 40 each day and I'll be good for the gopher patch this spring. A fellow can't have too many Nasti Nose rounds. FS

Awaiting graphic gopher-hunt pics...........;)

I have been on a number of great shoots in the last 4 or 5 years, where we shot hundreds. I never have brought along a digital camera. I'm mostly a rimfire shooter and you don't really get the spectacular kills like you get with center fire rifles.
That said I did pick up a new 19 Calhoon and a 22 K- Hornet , both in CZ 527 actions, so perhaps there will be some more body parts flying around.

Great! Where did you get the .19 Calhoon?

Briefly, how does it work? (I understand WHAT it does...)

@Fassteel: That 22 K-Hornet is one of the sweetest varminting rounds going IMO.
