Hey everyone, Does anyone know of places which sell PACT products in Canada? I ask because I can find all sorts of RCBS digital scales but no PACT ones. (I thought I had heard once that PACT makes RCBS's stuff only marketed cheaper, aka BBK II vs Rangemaster 750).

Pretty hard to beat PACT's own prices - they sell direct on their website wwwdotpactdotcom/scales

or barring that search eBay and you'll find some scales and dispensers.

Ebay sells junk and the last decent electronic powder scale I saw on Ebay was an older PACT BBK (9V only) and it went for over $50 US + Shipping.

I know how much the RCBS Rangemaster 750's are (All over the place in Canada), I was just wondering how much the respective PACT was up here since they are usually 10-20% cheaper than the RCBS ones (Love the Brand name = price increase for the same product. Sounds like John Deere Construction).

Not sure what you're in the market for but this scale looks an awful lot like my RCBS Powder Pro ;) . I agree, adding the RCBS name to the same product is at LEAST a 20% increase, usually more. PACT has this combo on sale on their site for $200.00, also some good deals on their scales. BTW, I bought my RCBS Powder Pro (equivalent to the Chargemaster 1500) off of eBay brand new at a fraction of the price retail and I can assure you it isn't junk - you just need to invest a little time to actually watch for the good ones to come up. If you're looking to cheap out and buy the cheapest item/scale available then yep, I guess you're going to get junk  .

I just looking for a scale opposed to a full dispensing setup. I have my old RCBS 5-10 which has seen lots of use, just looking at getting a digital as well. If the price turns out right (via Ebay or whatever) then I'll get a full dispensing system. Frugal. Yes. Cheap. Only on unimportant things like clothing. :p

I ordered direct from PACT on their web site. I got the same offer -free shipping and free Chrono tripod - as they offered in the USA during the Chrismass sale !!:dancingbanana:
Hard to beat. So why bother..go direct.:)

I asked about that for thier current deals (BBK II delivered $90 USD) and they told me an extra $15 or so for Canada. $105 US plus Duty? I'll buy a RCBS on from Russel for a little more than that Canadian. Does using the Online version somehow exempt me from getting charged shipping?
