Paid for my first flintlock pistol. Did I screw up?

I just hit the order button on a 9 inch English Sea Pistol from MilitaryHeritage.com but I just now realized I'm might not be able to get it verified and registered before the freeze.

What is involved in getting this pistol legal and shootable? How long should it take?

To get the gun shootable you will have to get the touch hole drilled

Im at 4 months waiting for my Luger to be changed from Prohibited to Restricted so it can be transferred into my name... Im anxiously waiting that it happens before the freeze.

The CFP certainly doesn't prioritize reverifications. I'm at half a year waiting on my USC to be changed to non-restricted. As far as I'm aware it can only be done by a certified shop/gunsmith. If they don't do it often they may not know the exact procedure either now so hold ups are inevitable. Worst thing is, it'll probably be considered prohib if the bill passes being a replica...

That actually came up in conversation and they definitely can sell you a non-firing/not-drilled replica.
