Painted acog

Just bought a TA31 acog, someone painted it with krylon spray paint. How could I safely remove it?

I have had pretty good success with a rag and fingernail polish remover for certain paints , not sure what effect it would have on the underlying finish, so be careful.
You may be stuck with it, or paint over it again.

I think they cerakote their optics but I'm not sure

If it's painted with krylon or like, Goo Gone is the best remedy.

Paint the gun it's going on the same colour then sell it on the EE for 2x the money as an Operator gun ( LNIB of course!)
