Painted another stock today...

Thought I'd try something a little different on this one. I wish I could find some of that webbing in black. If anyone has any or knows where to get it, PM me...

Nice, looking at it kinda gets me thinking, some black patterning in addition to the white in a 3D fashion, might add some pretty cool depth and change the overall appearance.

But its not half bad the way you've done it as well.

Thanks, its my wife's stock. She wanted pink, I talked her into green with webbing instead...

Did she like it? I told my wife, if she ever got into shooting and wanted a pink gun, it would have to go in a separate safe. LOL

How do you do the webbing?

Lacquer out of a very low pressure spray gun is supposed to work, though I have not tried it. Google pinball cabinet webbing.

I bought a can of silver webbing, but can't find any black...If you spray the webbing in the air it will go about 15'...

Nice job! Attention to detail: pink on the bolt turning. Painting a gun pink to get the ladies to shoot is like reading poetry to get laid. It's all good. Under any other circumstances, you're in need of a smack from a friend.

blargon, really nice work on the VTR stock. I know that some automotive two part trunk spatter paints are in black...might that work? I don't know who well they will 'string'...but they spatter quite well.

Actually its not a VTR stock, just a regular black SPS youth stock. I was surprised how close the green is though. I thought it would be a little lighter...
