Just did the last touches on my custom L/H M700 338WM it has a douglas supreme blued barrel with a Mcmillan classic stock with decellarator pad, It has a VXII 2x7x33 leupold,my brother told me how to paint it so I gave it a try and I was happy how it turned out.

Very nice John! That turned out quite nice.

Where did you get the stock from? Did you order it direct or is there a Canadian dealer?

Cheers,

James

stock

No James I bought it from a guy off of 24hour campfire for $250.00 US so $330.00 Can. shipped to my door, it;s a good site to buy scopes and stocks and things like that, When I painted the stock I did it lightly but being a dark blue I needed to put more webbing on to make it stand out.

John.

The webbing looks good. Where did you end up finding the webbing paint?

So, you've got the 338 ready in time for Spring bear...I can't wait to see the pictures with the gun on a nice 7' blackie.;)

24 campfire? Well, it sounds like another website for me to spend some time on.

338

Pat had some black webbing so he gave me some but I still am looking for white for my 2 Mcmillan black stocks (silver would work) and you will see a blackie with the 338 it shoots .75'' or better all day with 225gr partitions at 2950fps, can't wait to use it.

Take care,
John

Damn Brennan, aside from the bolt being on the wrong side that's a damned beauty of a rifle!

BUM, That's funny but you have a point.

Ted: I am able to get gold I'm have not seen it on a black stock and am not sure if I will like it, if someone has a pic of a rifle done in gold I could see a pic from I would be interested. Thanks Ted
