So I got a synthetic stock for free. It was cheaply made, mold marks everywhere. Once I started working on it, i couldn’t stop. Ended up sanding the whole thing, cutting a groove for the Bayo, and painting the whole stock in Urban Camo with Red as the base color.

First time painting a stock, and first time trying camo. I need to do some touchups and clear coat the whole thing still, but that wont be done tonight.

What do you think?

Hahaha, I put it together so fast I forgot the bolt assembly with charging handle and cover :p

I think you might need to cut a bigger bayo groove, you migth stab your fingers

Looks like thats as deep as he can get it, removing more would just be removing excess material. The bayo seems to be seated in its groove in the stock metal. Ramline seemed to like raising the stocks up under the barrel for some reason. I dont like the look but free is free :D I do like the camo job though, nice work polskadude

The bayo isnt touching anything, its floating over the little groove. Thats where the bayo rests on my SKS, floats freely. Is it suppose to retract more? How can I get it to retract deeper?

Its not really that unique, I got the idea from CoD Modern Warfare. I was thinking about doing it in digi camo, but that looked like alot more work. There is also a nice red and black tiger stripe camo that I thought about. Maybe one day.
