Thinking of picking up a Stevens 200 for 'yote hunting but it comes in that godawful Cookie Monster blue colour. What can I use to paint it (im thinking either a solid black or possibly an improvised camo pattern) that will hold well to the stock material?

I used grey primer and tan Krylon camo paint for a base, then I sprayed truck bed liner at the stock from 3 or 4 feet for the splatted grip. It worked ok.

Use Krylon Fusion (for plastic) as your base, then you can use regular krylon colors over that for a camo type job...Satin clear on top...
