Painting aluminum

I have painted aluminum but not a SR-22 or a Nordic body.
Are you bringing it back down to bare aluminum or just scuff sanding it?
For starters you need a good self-etching primer if bringing it back down to bare aluminum.
I've have good luck with Krylon paints but other good names are Duracoat or Gun-kote. :)
 
Thanks, I was not taking it down to bare metal. Just painting over the top. After digging around a bit I think Krylon will work.
