I bought these Carry lite super magnums about seven years ago and I don't really mind them. The only thing I didn't like is the front chest of the decoy is bright white. I can't help but think that this big stark white patch has scared away a few wary geese. Seeing as we are a month into the season now I thought I should do something about them as the geese are getting a little smarter. After doing some research on line I bought some kaki Krylon como paint and tried painting them a little darker. Here's the result. The decoy on the far left is completely covered. The decoy in the middle has a light coat on it and the one on the right is the original. I think I will give them all a light coat. The color is a bit on the brown side, but they didn't have a gray in Krylon camo. It is a very dull finish and that's the most important thing.
Any thoughts? Do they look better? Worse? Where they fine as they were? I'm was going to paint the rest tonight and use them tomorrow.
