I have a some questions if people could help me out..
In section C of the application for a Possession and Acquisition license.

There are the questions "During the past five years, have you been charged, convicted or granted a discharge for an offence:"
i) under the Criminal Code or Youth Criminal Justice Act where violence was used, threatened or attempted;

As well as the question "During the past five years, have you been subject to a peace bond, protection order or an order under section 810 of the Criminal Code?"

And lastly "During the page 5 years, do you know if you have been reported to the police or social services for violence, threatened or attempted violence, or other conflict in your home or elsewhere."

Here is my question. In May 2012 I had a GF (Ex now) who I broke up with. She went to the police and lied that I abused her and I was supposed to go to court for it. A couple months later she confessed that it was all a lie and she was mad at me, now she is going to court and I have nothing on my record. They said my record was clean, so do I still put yes on all 3?

The second one says "Have I been subject to a peace bond or protection order" which the wording confuses me so is it asking if I was on restraint or had a restraining order on someone else. During this time with my Ex I had a restraining order until I was free to go.

Also, I am 18, when I was 14 there was an incident in High School called Kick a Ginger day. I was participating and I tripped some kid. We went to the youth criminal justice thing where we resolved everything with some community work for me. He wasn't really mad at me and I didn't even hurt him, I even helped him up and said sorry so my record was cleared then as well.

Just not sure what to write if someone could share any experiences, or legal advice.

Sorry for triple post, but 1 last question. I was given an envelope addressed to Miramichi NB. I live in B.C, and I heard that there is a centre in Surrey as well. Would mailing it to one be faster than the other?

I can't speak to your initial questions but you have to mail it to Miramichi. Surrey is the BC CFO office who will it will ultimately end up with but Miramichi is where the CFP will initially process the paperwork and do the reference checks from.

unless you can be proven wrong...always put no....ie...it asked if ive ever been depressed...sure i have..but i put no lol
