Hi all i am applying for RPAL and form asks if i had a divorce within past 2 years, my divorce was finalized 1 year and a half ago but been seperated 4 years now. Should i even bother putting down YES to this question and add the "comments" on seperate page?
thanks in advance

btw GREAT SITE HERE!!!

I'd say yes since it falls in the timeline they're asking about, and include the 4 year in your comments. When I filled out mine (and job forms) anything I think they may discover I disclose so I'm not hiding anything. I'm not sure if its the best advice just what I do. Others here may have different or better advice.

Welcome to CGN, enjoy!

Hey 84, welcome aboard. Why not give them a call and ask them any questions you have before sending in your app. This way they'll let you know what extra info to offer that might help in processing your app quicker. Good luck!

I was in a similar situation. It was no problem, I had missed that any 'yes' answers mean you need to send an additional signed sheet explaining, in this case they wanted the dates of the separation and divorce to to be added to the app. When I called them they said some people also include a copy of the divorce cert., but they said not all do. I faxed in a letter stating the dates (and I also sent the certificate hoping to avoid possible delays). Got my rpal yesterday.

Get her to sign the paper work and they will call her speak to her and that just speeds things up
