For PAL renewal, if the spouse (or ex-wife) refused to sign on the form, will the renewal request be definitely rejected?
Does anyone have the similar experience?

Okay something's wrong with you. Just days ago you posted talking about how your wife ALREADY signed your PAL and you received it and then she started saying she was going to recall it. So, how many wives do you have?? Or did you take advice so many gave you and start divorce proceedings? Further, if you just received your PAL, you're in no position to be worrying about renewal... Sheesh.

Straight from the Renewal Form.

The signatures of your current and former conjugal partners is not legally required. However, if their signatures are not provided, the Chief Firearms Officer has a duty to notify them of your application to renew your firearms licence.

Give him the benefit of the doubt.
He may have re-married (someone else, I mean) in the meantime.

Thanks - I did see that but did not know the signatures are not legally required.
Sorry for the confusion - I am just thinking about what will happen after several years - maybe too early to be worry about it.

It only matters if you're still with her two years before date of renewal... which by the sounds of your questions isn't guaranteed.

Also straight from the Renewal Form.

Conjugal partner includes spouses and common law partners
and all other persons with whom you live or have lived in a
similar relationship within the last 2 years.

Does anyone else find it odd that canadammo's Post Count is still zero? This is the second thread (that I know of) that he has created in the past few days.
It took a few days for my posts to start counting up when I first joined, but others have also said that posts in the Newbie Forums don't count. Not sure if that's true or not.
