PAL Time to be listed as recieved?

Hello All,

I convinced a good friend to get his PAL & RPAL application sent off.

It's been 8 days and it does not show as received on their site. We were wondering if that is normal, or that they do not update the site regularly.

We know that we have to wait for approval for at least 28 days and ref checks but we wanted to be certain it had been received.

Just curious how long it takes to show at least they they got the envelope?

depends on location.. your app goes to miramichi.... and canada post is delivering... anything to piss you off really!!! id give it a couple more days... getting your licence is a waiting game... i waited approx..45 or more days for mine im in ontario... and that was fast lol.... if your that worried about it call next week sometime.. the people at miramichi are very helpfull and nice.. im sure they wont mind you asking if they received you application!! good luck!!

Just another reason to send everything off "Registered"

When I sent mine in I got the same answer, until I said “that’s strange I have a receipt that says that Connie signed for it on (date)” and almost immediately the staff at the CFC said “oh! here it is, and its undergoing processing” I received my licence within a week and a ½ after that call!

I know its frustrating but Hang in there. They are trying to do there best

Took mine about two weeks. I'm sorry to say but boil up a pot of coffee and snuggle up with War and Peace.
Toronto-->Murmachi (spelling?).
 
I sent mine via CP express so I have a tracking number.

The CP website showed it arriving there 3 days after I sent it, and it was on the CFC site a few days later. So about a week.
