nope it would say one way or the other online. I've been checking to see if my upgrade turned up and my pal is still listed from 2016, so if they declined it would be there as declined.

My application was received in NS on Nov 26th. I haven't received my stamped course back for the Ont CFO. I'm sure this pending lockdown won't speed that up. But from what I see on here my credit card won't be charged for another 3 moths at least and at that point I will have a reference number to put on the marks and send it in then.

Yep exactly. If you have access to a fax machine (some free ones online w/o watermark) you can also fax it in when you have the ref# - they'll have it on file in a day or two instead of waiting for Canada Post Laugh2

Update:
License has been issued :)

Very happy and just in time for Christmas. It's been a long wait but all good now. Going to call and see if I can get the registration number before it lands in the mail.

Timeline started in early June when I mailed, but it got held up due to some expired reference signatures on my end.

I would hope they have figured out the work from home thing by now for most of their clerical staff.

But knowing RCMP and their love for paper documents who knows.

Were they able to tell you anything about your app? No card yet here (not expecting it until after Xmas but an xmas gift from CFP would be nice not gonna lie...)

I would think only one person would be required to open the snail mail, then scan it in. Then the clerks can do all the data entry... wouldn’t it be good if we could send in a PDF!? Gasp! :) I literally filled it all in the PDF and then had to snail mail it in. Brutal.

They told me to call January again if my application is not get approved till then and she told me as well will be around 2 weeks after cc charged
And yes that’s gift will be much appreciate it

Honestly it's not even Canada Post, it's the CFO. My stamp date was a couple days before I received it. Took me over a month to get as a result of the CFO's slowness.
 
After watching other provinces post their (relatively) quick CFO turnaround times, I finally get to post one from Ontario.

Application Mailed: July 6
Application Received: July 10
CC Charged: Oct 15
Approved and Issued: Dec 22
ON applicant
Applicant and reference not interviewed


Now i just have to wait for Canada Post.
 
Well here's an update. I got an e-mail from them last Friday and didn't notice. Sure enough my debit visa didn't work so I had to use another card to pay for it.
Application is now online
QC applicant.
Application Received: August 31
CC Charged: December 18 ( supposed to but didn't work so I paid today )

More info soon. I guess they are doing first week of September now. Hope this info helps.
 
Amazing, good to see a fellow Quebec applicant. mine was received on Sept 4th.

My card arrived in the mail :) 7 days after for NS.

Aug 21-23, 2020 - CFSC/CRFSC combo course
Aug 24, 2020 - Shipped application package to RCMP
Aug 26, 2020 - Package received by RCMP
Sept 21, 2020 - Received CFSC/CRFSC course report from FSESO (stamped Sept 16, 2020)
Dec 14, 2020 - Credit card changed & showing online - initial process complete, in progress
Dec 14, 2020 - Faxed course reports, called to change address (different province)
Dec 16, 2020 - Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued
Dec 23, 2020 - Received card in mail

Perfect Christmas gift!!

I have a B22 FV-SR on hold from a LGS that’s way cheaper than online I’m super excited to pick up today!!
Hope to see some of you around at NS ranges.

2 months from cc charged to getting approved that’s long time comparing to ns i see people getting approved with in 3 days
In this case i don’t except to get approved till February
 
Hey folks,
A new member, I am so glad I found this forum.
My RPAL application was received mid of Sep by Miramichi

I called 2 times, one when they received the application they couldn't confirm.
The second time a week ago, the lady who picked up was so nice and informative. Said, they cant help me as long as my credit card has not been charged and she expects that mine might be beginning or mid of January. What happens after or how fast the process the application after the cc charged depends on many things like,
RPAL or PAL,
First time or renewal,
The province you are in (me AB),
Your background,
And she told me something interesting, if I call right after the cc charged and my name is on the system I can give them a call that would help and might speed up the process.
By the way, they are off just on the 25th, 26th and the 1st.
