PAL Wait Time

I think I'm October 1st as well but I'm saying the 2nd for purposes of timelines. Just counted 5 business days from my mailing date. (Sept 27th).

Let me know if you guys hear anything, if not this week, hopefully next.
 
For the ones that had their CC's charged and still waiting approval. I just phoned the general number, asked for the surrey cfo office (BC) and asked a very nice lady if anything is needed. We went through all my details and after being put on hold she informed me that my application has now been approved. I should have the card in a few days!

Congratulations

Mine was approved January 14th
Still waiting for the card so excited about it .
Applied August 26th
 
Finally after a wait. I got a call from a lady, she gave me an interview and went over past interactions with any police. After talking to me and my reference I was approved. My MP messaged once a month for the past two months, yesterday was the second time. Today I got the call and now my licence has been issued.

App received July 13th, BC Resident.

Did they transfer you to the BC CFO ?

CC Just charged, and application is online - "Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date."

Received: October 1

As some members said, any inaccurate or missing info add time to you app and no one can tell how long (its all about the officer who's verifying these info). But I guess your thing is not a big deal since the cc is the first thing they do when they first touch the app. I know someone who put the wrong cc number, he received an email asking to update the cc info, few days later he got approved!

Yes, now the wait begins. Atleast by summer I will have it and in the meantime I am able to do some research on what I want to buy. Already have the SKS in mind as a starter.
 
Anyone who's filling out or planning to submit an application soon, please double triple and 10 times check your PERSONAL info. One innocent mistake can add time to the application.
Spend 5 more minutes and save your self weeks of delay.
 
I didn't send mine registered mail, but did include postage. Just counted 5 business days from my mailing date to estimate the date received. Triple checked the address and everything though.
