PAL Wait Time

CC charged Feb 5 2021

** a lady told me that when the status changes online, it takes up to one week before profile picture and the proof of the course is up on the web so the CFO can see everything **

So I assume they only work weekdays ? Got mine 10-16-20 no charge or ours yet probably next week if they only work weekdays

Oct 24 - Mailed Application
Oct 28 - Application Received
..


I ran the dates people have posted since August and it's consistent; 110-118 days from receipt of application to CC charges.

129 days for me waiting my now and no cc charge

Just checked the online tracker my license status is showing up as issued. Again, my app was received on Oct 13 2020 by the RCMP
 
My app was recieved oct 16, i recieved an email this morning, which i was waiting for because my CC was stolen, got the payment put through and is being sent to processing
 
Finally have something to update:

Took the firearms safety course in Ontario on Aug 30 2020, mailed next day

Paperwork was stamped on Oct 6 2020

I got it on Oct 9 2020

Mailed to Mariachi on Oct 10 2020

They got it on Oct 19 2020

Today my application went live and is in process Feb 8 2021

The license is showing up as issued on the RCMP site. I haven't received the physical card as of yet. This is what the site says:

Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)

Wow thats great congrats to you. Mine was charged Jan 26th. Still not issued. Here's to hoping its issued this week. Somethings just don't make sense with the timing shown on here.

Mine was charged on Jan 22nd, no movement for me either.

But I'm in NS, which is probably the differentiating factor for me. I lately see people from all over mostly being approved within a couple of days or a week of CC being charged and showing up online, but I've not seen any updates from anyone around NS lately.

Is there anyone from around NS that's had some movement lately?

I agree, a bit strange how people before me still dont have their card charged. I'm not too sure if it makes a difference (at least at this stage) but I legit had everything prepared + no checkmarks on the app.
 
I submitted my application march 2020 and got card end of Dec 2020... Hope it doesn't take that long for everyone else.
 
Applied for RPAL on 9 Oct, CC charged on 2 Feb, Checked website today and says license issued..Now wait on Canada Post I guess. BTW I had the old two in one crse pre 99 and it appears my RPAL went through no issue es without having to do teh new RPAL course.
 
Guys don't freak ou if you see someone got approved before you. No one knows EXACTLY how they work. For example, me and a bunch of friends and family members submitted the applications at the same time. They all got approved within a week except me, it took almost a month. By the way I have absolutely no criminal record and didn't check any box when I filled out the application.
Just be patient, try to call every 2 weeks not less ask if they need more info sometimes it helps. It worked for me and some people here.
