Yep. It’s brutal!
BC applicant
Course taken late May.
Sent application by regular mail on May 31.
I was getting a bit nervous because my application didn't show up on the website for a couple weeks thereafter.
I checked again today (June 21) and finally it showed up on the site, yay:
Application Received on: 2021-06-04. Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress...

Wow. Only 2 weeks after them receiving it for it to show up online. Impressive. When I submitted my application last October they were taking just under 4 MONTHS for it to show up online!
Application received January 25th
CC charged and showed up online April 26th
Finally called in today and asked for an update, was put on hold for 2 minutes and approved!
Those who are waiting after it appears online for a few weeks call in and ask for updates every other week and eventually they will approve it

Congrats! I was going to call in again today myself on the 8th month anniversary of my application being received. But I thought I’d give them a few more days as the last time I called (6 weeks ago) they advised it’d be another 4-6 weeks for the new photo I sent in to be processed. Should be any month now. lol
Any idea how long it takes to upgrade to restricted?

CC charged: Jun 11, 2021
Logged in today (June 26, 2021) to check the status...

Call them and ask if they are missing anything my cheque got cleared on the 4 and it was like that for two weeks so I called them on the 22 and just asked them for a status and if they’re missing anything and the guy told me I was approved on the phone directly

takes about a week. Mine was approved Oct 29 2020 and in mailbox Nov 06 2020. So going by that you should have it by the 30th at latest.

called may 19, response was "sent to cfo, nothing missing, call back in july"

Update June 28 - Sons status has changed from initial processing to Completed initial review.
I am on my 6th version of my PAL (.0006). I have never waited more than a few weeks. Sent this one in on 06 Apr 21. Keep getting the same page saying in process. Called 5 times, same answer. "We're busy". Emailed and got no answer. Good thing I applied early. It expires next month.

My credit card was charged Feb. 12th so know that you are not alone! A crazy wait for sure.
Called May 19 cause I couldn't login to check status: they said my birth year was entered incorrect in the system so I clarified that and was assured that they would update that info
Called Jun 21 told there was no new info available, just wait longer...

No references were called
