Fyi just called bc CFO to find out where my rpal upgrade was. I had needed to send in a better quality photo for my application, which I did back in early November.
Wast told they're only at October 10, in terms of adding information to applications. It was suggested it would probably be another month at least

That's right in line with what I've been hearing recently. Did you apply for a PAL or RPAL & which province are you in?

I had the same issue and they received the updated info October 12th, no status change for me as of today.
Hopefully next month they open up the letter.
Ok thanks, the second wave hit sometime around there + holidays so 6-7 weeks seems normal then, thank you for the response.
My son received his Minor's Firearm License yesterday; he did the course with Mom last February, mailed the paperwork in March, it read received online with the BC CFO in June - so 10 months later, it finally arrived. Happy son and happy Dad. Still no word on my wife's RPAL, which she mailed the same time.
Update (MB new pal applicant) :
Nov. 15, 2021: Application recieved recieved
January 25, 2022: Called MB CFO to ask if there were any issues. They said they did not have application, but they told me it was only waiting for the photo to be scanned.
January 27: "Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued."
I called the main RCMP number and recieved the same vague info every time, but got a more detailed update from the CFO. This may be helpful for others to know.

I applied for my first RPAL in BC. They received mine on the 21st of October, I got charged on the 20th of November but I'm yet to be approved and it just says they have completed the initial review.
From BC too waiting on RPAL. Received Dec 6th, charged January 18th and sitting on completed the initial review. I guess I have some more waiting to do
oh wow, thats unusual I think. My application was from October and I got it. Have you checked the online status?
Was that for a PAL renewal?
