Mailed February 15. Regular mail, no tracking. That was a mistake in my opinion.. I had no idea they received it on February 24 until it showed up online May 16.
 
Update on my 2 weeks
Last week of June got the 2 week notice. After many post's here, figured I make the call . Was told the card isn't even printed, and politely told it will likely be another month. Complete disgrace for service and system.
 
Update on mine. June 16 license was issued and it was received in the mail on July 7 so 3 weeks exactly to receive in the mail for me and I am in BC

21-Feb-2022 Received

20-May-2022 Received mail stating that my payment was not received. I called same day and CC was charged. (I checked the previous week and wasn't able to view online but now I could view status online.)

20-Jun-2022 Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. Now wait for it in the mail.

11-Jul-2022 arrived in mail.

Got my card in the mail today, so final timeline (Ontario):

Feb 19 - mailed via regular mail
Feb 25 - received (as noted in online status that appeared later)
May 19 - CC charged, online status appears
June 21 - license has been issued
July 12 - card arrives in mail, enclosed letter indicates it was printed on July 5
 
lmao i'm still stuck with "initial review complete", should i just send a new application or continue to wait for the unknown?

I've contacted ON-CFO(who doesn't have my application) and the toll free number(x2) and they keep telling me to "wait a couple weeks and it should be updated" so any help is appreciated
 
New to the forum, thought I would add my experience. I'm going through re-licencing after many years lapsed. So far:
Date mailed: 31 March, 22
Date received (according to online system): 5 April, 22 *gobsmacked that Canada Post delivered from northern Alta to NB in only 3 business days!!
Date appeared online, initial review complete: 5 July, 22
...and still waiting for the rest

January 21st 2021 Credit card was charged
Unknown date initial process complete
February 22nd 2022 Application forwarded to Ontario CFO
July 14th 2022 the rcmp still says its completed its initial review

Is anyone else from Ontario thats applied in a similar time and in my position?

i've called the RCMP who sent me to the CFO, the CFO basically told me nothing was wrong and everything was standard but couldnt even give me a date.

Wow - December. Mine started in March, charged the CC right away - and now I wait with you.... It makes no sense as it's different with everyone apparently.
 
Congrats to those who have received theirs!

This is my updated timeline for Ontario:

Mailed early January
Received end of January
CC charged early April
Did get ahold of Ontario CFO office mid-June, said application was received end of May and everything on it is correct. Agent I spoke to says "it's making good time"

As per the agent's instructions, call back after 1 month if I don't hear anything. Called on Wednesday July 13th, Thursday July 14th and this morning. On hold for a bit and then "No one is available to assist you, we're sorry etc etc" and just hangs up.

What number did you call, and how did you reach the Surrey office? They’ve had my application since March, and still nothing!!

Credit card charged June 24th, 2022
Online status approved for Restricted July 16, 2022
 
Silly question -
How do you check your (NEW) application status online?
Isn't the application sent by mail?
If so, how does it identity your paper application - do you use the same email as stated in the application to create an account?

Also, is it mandatory to create this online account?

I've been waiting since April 23. I phoned in and a lady gave me the blues how they are swamped. Nice to hear how great the firearms act is run.. she added a note to my file so let's see what that even does, haha.
