PAL Waiting Time

It's a really up and down affair. As cam1936 said, some have got it right on 28 days, and others have had months upon months of waiting.

I'm hoping I'm in category one, but thats for the BC CFO to decide I suppose lol

My PAL was granted pretty quickly. It took them about 40 days for them to mail the license to me. I had a few other friends who applied roughly the same time as me (early July) and they all got their PAL already. Not sure why there is a hold up.
I think there is a fair bit of mixing apples and oranges here. People are giving time lines and not mentioning if it is a renewal of a PAL or an RPAL, initial PAL or is it a RPAL (big difference as far as CFC is concerned), and in my case it is for Minor License's for my two sons.

Either way, I still can't figure out how I can apply online for a new Birth Certificate, pay the fee online and have a new Birth Certificate (in hand) in THREE days.

I was also able to get an enhance driver's license (in hand) in less than two weeks.

I haven't done passport recently, but I suspect it is a matter of only a few days?

What the hell is this 2-3 months bulls**t for an operation that had $2 billion dollars in seed money?

I did my passport last year by mail...took about 6 weeks all said and done.
