The Pan Am games are coming to Toronto in 2015. While the exiting Mayor Miller has ruled the shooting events will be held outside the city, I am curious just what are the shooting events (rifle, pistol) and what is the Canadian governing body that will select the Canadian shooters? After watching the winter Olympics I am tempted to take my 22lr Finnish Lions out of the gun safe this summer. Does anyone know a download source for the correct target. Thanks.

The Pan-Games site is up and running but it doesn't have tons of detailed info on the shooting events.
If you download the 44MB bid book it says that the indoor shooting events will be held at the Ajax Community Centre on July 11-16 while the outdoor shooting events will be hosted by the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club on July 11-17.
Pan-Am Games host all the same events as the Summer Olympics:
10m Air Pistol – Men & Women
50m Free Pistol – Men
25m Rapid Fire Pistol – Men
25m Pistol – Women
10m Air Rifle – Men & Women
50m Rifle Prone – Men
50m Rifle 3 Positions – Women
50m Rifle 3 Positions – Men
Trap – Men & Women
Double Trap – Men
Skeet – Men & Women

No one shoots 300m rifle at the Olympics or Pan-Am Games anymore because the ranges are so expensive (although you think they could've used Borden for that).
As for the venues themselves, I can see them holding air pistol and air rifle in a community centre because all you need is 40 feet and stands for spectators. But when you scroll to p. 125 in the bid book, the venue plan for outdoor shooting only has a diagram for trap and skeet – where will the pistol and rifle events be held?
If you look at the OSGC on Google they certainly have nice trap and skeet facilities, but their pistol and rifle range is totally inadequate for world-class competition – and it doesn't even face north. So they're definitely going to have to spend some coin there. Check out Google for an overhead shot of the range complex they built in Munich for the 1972 Olympic Games.
As for targets, I don't know of an online source for ISSF-approved targets. But as Longshot notes, you can buy them from Cibles Targets Canada, order a bundle from the SFC or even check out Canadian Tire as they sometimes have 20 yd. sporting rifle targets (much easier than the ISSF targets).
The smallbore rifle scene in southern Ontario is still pretty active and you're more than welcome to come out and give it a whirl. The best match calendar is on the Rifle Shooting in Ontario site. Good luck and come out!

If downloadable targets are hard to find, and if you know what the parameters of the targets are supposed to be ( size, spacing of rings/lines, etc. ) then perhaps a bit of time spent with a Photoshop or other paint type program might be an alternative. Then you can print as many as you need, or even share with others.

If you want to play around with Photoshop the outside diameter is 154.4 mm and the 10-ring is 10.4 mm. It's a tricky target!
