Papoose Range Reports!

So, got the response from Marlin to my letter of the 14th of March (not bad turn around time, for snail mail).

Unfortunately:

1) The foam packing piece for the carrying case was discontinued approximately one year after production of the Papoose began (nice of them to not mention that ANYWHERE, and to still include the part on the assembly diagram packed with the rifle);

2) They still won't include an e-mail address, with their written correspondence (and hey, I'm too cheap to spend money on ANOTHER stamp to contact them anymore, so I guess it keeps down complaints at their end);

3) They won't ship parts to Canada, but included a list of Canadian distributers who I have never heard of - Thanks, but I'll stick to dealing with businesses I know, or who have been reccomended on this site;

4) They state that they included an updated parts diagram for my rifle with their letter - They didn't.

So, it's a good thing that the little plinker shoots good, because it seems like Marlin are a bunch of bass ackwards individuals to deal with!

Just FYI,

Neal
