Kimber doesn't make a double stack. Since it's for IPSC you should go with the Para double stack. Most of us find the mag changes on a DS considerably faster than a SS.

Why are mag changes faster on a double stack? Is it due to the wider mag well?

That, and the magazine itself tapers at the top as well.
