Para Ordinance .45 ACPs?

Had 2. A GI model, never had issues. Sold it. Bought an elite pro and loved it. Amazing pistol loaded with features for the price. Sold it to a friend and kind of regretted it since my trp operator was twice as more expensive and didn't perform twice as good.

Have had a couple with the latest being a 14-45 limited SS double stack. No issues but I think the ones made in Canada were the best ones if I remember correctly

I have a now deceased friend that had a 14/45 model. When it worked, it was fine but it was being used as a race gun to utilize the extra mag capacity and because the large frame fit his hand better.

It was prone to parts breakage. There is a little pressed sheet steel lever on the same pin as the sear. The arm on this used to break off regularly. He used to order 10 ea packs of them from Brownelle's.

TURF THE LIBERALS IN 2019

Liberals really like POOR people, they're making more of them every day

If you can't vote CPC, stay at home in protest

I have a Para GI Expert in .45 that I've used in Wild Bunch matches and shoot just for fun. I really like it, although I don't have a whole lot of experience with 1911s. Mine has run flawlessly in matches using the original mags and a hand full of different after market ones I've picked up on the EE. And it's not at all picky about different types of ammo. From what I've seen at competitions , the Para is excellent value for money in a category that can get pretty pricey.

I have a GI Expert model. I had a couple failures to go into battery with steel cases ammo, but no other issues

HI; The Para GI expert is good money spent. Works, shoots well. Needs 500 rounds and some rail polishing to break in. Spend double the cash for bragging rights if you wish. Yes eats reloads, lead bullets and most factory stuff. What more is wanted?

I had the P14-45. Loved it! Excellent gun. Made in Canada. When they closed the factory up here, the guns being made in the US had a terrible reputation. Everyone was disappointed with the quality for a lot of years. Only recently have the American made Para’s started to regian a positive reputation. If you can find one that was made in Canada, buy it.

I had a nickel-plated 14-45 compensated custom one years ago set up to run .45 Super. It ran well. Cool gun. I've heard they can be hit-and-miss QC-wise though, even the Canadian ones....

Of all the 1911's I've owned over the years I've never had a Para Ordnance one.

NAA.

I have a 13-45 Commander sized Limited. It is a beautiful gun, rock solid reliable, most of the 1000 rounds that came with my Norinco went through this gun which is a shame because that stuff was DIRTY.

Mine was made in Canada.
