Update! Finally!
I got to hit the range today. Hammered out 1k rounds from the "Tour 1911". Half were handloads with dirty dirty HS6. I don't recommend this powder for .45 at all. So much for multitasking powders....
I had a couple feed issues with my handloads, and that is something I will have to play around with on my side.
She ate up 500 rounds of factory ammo, all 230gr, except the Hornady TAP. There was some S&B in there, CCI Blazer, and Federal. I haven't really tried accuracy on this yet, this was just a fun shoot, solely keeping in mind how she was functioning.
So far, this is all I had to change to make it work.

- Wilson Combat spring set (factory recoil spring was binding up on the 1pc guide rod something fierce)
- Wilson Combat extended slide lock/release (factory one was deformed and did not work at all. Always stuck)
- EGW extractor (only took Para a few months...)
- ACT mags x 5
- Some fine tuning (sights were WAY off, polishing of chamber and feed ramp, small fitment of parts.)
- Dlask mainspring housing (original was plastic. Ewwww.....)
After 1K rounds of dirty dirty ammo. Mmmmm....
After a good cleaning.
Next I will refine handloads, and see what kind of groups I can get with this dirty dirty whore.
