The safety breaks on my P14-45

Do I need a Para safety, or can I use any ambi-1911 safety? And where best to order one?

I got mine from Brownell's a few years ago, it needed some detail work to make it fit properly. That is when I learned there are gunsmiths and then there are GUNSMITHS.

i checked Brownells site and didn't find any safetys specific to Para. I'm guessing a standard 1911 safety would work, but love to hear some opinions?

A standard safety will fit -- reg or ambi --- and a high chance will need to be fitted
