PARA problem FIXED ( UPDATE 19th MAY !!! )

Update ...

New X400 on the way...

Cant wait to put it back on the rail... If the rail fails again in putting that POS on EE.

Time to save up money for a Kimber...

I feel your pain.

Sucks waiting for a looooooooooong time... investing hard earned $, expecting top quality which will provide satisfaction, only to realize it's a rushed out-the-door piece of junk.

A rail that won't fit anything is unacceptable.

Fingers crossed for ya~

Saving 1000$ for me is a long process, I just dont have that cash on hand. Then getting this POS is a smack in the face...

Yeah I know all of you think we paid 750$ for these guns! but it was 962$ to my door ..... grrrrrrrrr Those gready f**k's at North silvia charge 50$ for shipping.... that was the best part....

Well after reading up on Kimber there QC isnt all that great either...

I did see that Valour from Dan W. that is a freaking nicve gun...

Wow, seems to be a lot of 1911 issues across several brands. Bad guns, useless lasers, and HORRIBLE customer service. Yep, someone here is definitely feeling the shaft. Good luck with solving the problems. Hopefully you'll get a gun that works soon and put this behind you.

Nowaday you can't really expect too much from'' MADE IN USA''. Not just 1911, but so as many other guns.

Apparently PARA was the cat's meow prior to moving operations State-side. What bothers me about the PARA USA CF Appreciation deal is that customer service and due-dates are almost non existent. Also, it seems like they are downgrading certain parts (mag bumpers) so that you need to upgrade them, at extra cost, to get normal functionality. bollocks. I recon that when (IF!!!!) I receive my single stack, it'l be more of a safe queen than an everyday gun.

Apparently PARA was the cat's meow prior to moving operations State-side. .

Actually, Para has had issues long before the move south. These are long standing problems that were identified quite a while ago, but keep coming out over and over again.

I always look at the pics of Para's for sale, focusing on the slide stop cut.

My canadian made ltc hasn't given me any troubles yet, mechanically. The finish is a little weak but nothing terrible just a scuff here and there, adds character. You guys are kinda making me nervous, stop it.

I used to own a custom Para P-14 LTD. Everything was in spec, but the black finish wore very quickly. This was late 90s. It seems as if they've been going downhill ever since. Bailing on Canada removed my very last reason for ever considering another Para.

i got one of the LTC also, if you don't want it to have problems, put it in the safe and never use it. they have way to many MIM parts for my liking. the first thing to go was my ejector, it turned to powder. seriously. so i went out and got a norinco for parts!
US made parts are more and more becoming MIM tons of wilson combats parts are now all MIM its sad really screw the customer and make as much profit as you can and worry about the brand name later. sad to say but Norinco parts are bar stock and machined not cast and might not have the best finish but i'll live with a ugly gun as long as it helps me live.

Hey you know what para offers to fix there P.O.S mags... for me to spend even more of my money on there Aluminium base plates...

Hahaha what a joke
