PARA problem FIXED ( UPDATE 19th MAY !!! )

Well I sent off this P.O.S back to Para on RMA

When I get it back fixed its going on EE since I dont want to deal with Para ever again !

I asked to get it Exchanged for a single stack .45 since I dont want to deal with there cheap mags...

and I wrote in BOLD to have a straight lightrail ... lol...

"return merchandise authorization". basically they set up a file so they know its coming. lots of electronics online stores etc use the system.

Well I gotta say that I'm glad I never bought one for TF 1-10. I did try and register on their forum so I could look into the deals they offered but I didn't have access to DWAN where I was so I used my civie e-mail. Some time goes by and got a response that access was denied because they couldn't verify my status. Shot back explaining that that would be hard to do since they never attempted to contact me in the first place and their instructions certainly don't say anything about requiring you to use your DWAN account. They never bothered getting back to me so I said F&*$ it, guess I'll get a Norc and give it sh*tty tan spray job that no one wants. Why do they limit which guns you can buy and force you to get that crappy tan paint job I'll never know.

Guess I'm glad they decided I wasn't worthy of their program.

Well at least they won't need to worry about QC for much longer, cause advertising like this they won't be selling anymore product...
I know I will never buy PARA
Thanks Dilligaf for taking one for the team as I am sure many here will steer clear of there products for now on.

Well I have an update... Thanks to Dan at North Silva ...

He sent me an email today about my .45

They will replace the slide... But the catch is he dosent know the ETA...

I wated 13 months for it... So let say half a gun half the time...

LOL

I should of spent that 1000$ on Hookers and Blow...

Cheap for a hooker and some blow. Where do you live as I've got $100 left to waste, lol.

LOL...

But you got to give props to People Like Dan have to deal with this sh!t day in and day out due to poor or even carless Q.C by a worthless compagnie...

He told me on the phone that Para is making great efforts in the last few months to ship him great products...

Well Dan just sent me an email... I will have a new frame and Complete Slide...

ETA well its para so no ETA.... lol... But at least PARA stood behing there product...

So if someone wants this New .45 it will be 900$ shipped...

Kudos to Dan for advocating for you. Unfortunately, I don't think you would have gotten very far dealing with Para "customer service" without his help...

Para just sent me an email saying they will ship me new aluminium base plates for free...

Weird... I got that email almost 6 months ago and never got them...

N-E way hope to see them... Free is allways good...

Just sent mine in to Para today.

Disconnector keeps getting stuck in the down position.
While it`s there I`ve asked them to fix the 10 round issue, I have the same problem.
Also asked to replace the grip safety as it was discolored from when I got it.

I`m slightly ticked but I`ll give them 1 shot to fix it permanent.

It`s a 14-45 Limited. I still want it because it`s stupid accurate, super tight and ###y as hell.

Dan from North Sylva just sent me some more great news... It starts with having to transfer the Para back to them... :)

Thats about where my problems with North Sylva started.

They then tried to give me a cheque for half the guns worth. After I said no theybtold me they couldnt help me and referred me to the warranty centre which was Gravel.

Only then did I get any help.

I think it was about 7 months dealing with them before they told me they wouldnt help.

A month later I had a brand new gun from Gravel.

Good luck.

And yes this is me blatently slamming North Sylva!

Please explain more.

It's been 3 weeks now and not a word.
The pistol was sent to North Silva for factory repairs.
I have no idea if the pistol even showed up, if they've looked at it, no ETA, no word on the issue, nadda!

My local dealer doesn't seem to be having any luck with an update, so I'm handling the issue myself. Their officially cut out of the loop as of today.

If their reading this they know who they are, and I'm not pleased :mad::mad::mad:

I'm calling North Silva tomorrow with my ticket number and find out WTF is going on.

Any info you have please tell, because I've officially lost patience

Thanks.

Its been only 3 weeks? Your getting mad already?

I sell cellphones and the average repair is 4-6 weeks!

A gun in Canad unfortunately takes closer to 4-6 months.

Expecting anything better than that is just gonna raise your blood pressure and can't be healthy.

Problem is you have no other option and these companies know it. Just like most gun stores these days there is not much customer satisfaction from most of them.
