Interesting! Well, it's not like the chinese have never made military gear before, I guess. There is no particular reason they CAN'T do high quality gear (well, assuming you tend to believe mil stuff is high quality.)

I have not seen many complaints in regard to the CQ311 rifles,and if you are on a budget..why not?

Getting a chinese m4 is an option but they still cost 700-800 $
An armalite is more expensive but not that much...
But I believe getting an american rifle would be better on the long run since it will have a better resale value.

everyone seems to be forgetting that China makes things for cheap, because of cost of labor etc. But if you add into the equation that they can and will make quality items up to and including western products they can. You just have to pay western prices. Hence why it is cheaper to outsource them to China cause they can. However if given the chance people tend to go with the cheap stuff.
