Hello

Does anyone know where I can get reliable after market 10 round magazines for a paraordance p14 chambered in 45 ACP.
I'm fed up with the factory magazines, they keep on falling apart!

This thing is going up for sale if I can't get a descent magazine.

Any suggestions?

A mate of mine has a P14 and has had no trouble with the factory ten round mags besides the usual plastic base shearing off when dropped too often. Viper basepads will fix that though.

He also uses a couple of Mec-gar mags and they do feel a lot sturdier and have also given no trouble.

He got his genuine mags through Brownells as their $US60 is much better than the $US115 local price . It took a while and was a bit of work but the saving was well worth it. Don't know what the price difference is for you canucks though.

I picked up my P18 last week and while I was expecting crap magazines (main thing I was warned about pre purchase) I have to say they really were terrible. Two of them wouldn't seat properly because the plastic bases were thicker on one side. Had to get the belt sander out and even them off.

Haven't fired it yet but I am getting a bit worried :(

I have 5 of the older original type they are perfect ! -- all one piece tubes & function great! I have , thankfully only ONE of the new mags , it is a piece of pure GARBAGE !! , it only holds 9 rds. & the thing cannot be trusted to stay together , or to use in the gun.
Purchased a "Pro-Mag" a few years ago , it took a week of "tweaking " the feed lips before proper functioning .

So if "Mec-Gar " mags are decent ,I might give'em a try.
