What all this demonstrates is there are a lot of gun quality guns out there. Depends on what your needs are and how much you want to spend. There isn't a gun out there that hasn't had problems and/or parts break in them. A visit to any of the gun forums will bear testimony to that. Guns are mechanical machines with parts that can and do break. STI, Les Baer, Dlask, Para, Glock and S&W all do and have parts break. When they do you fix them.
If you are an IPSC shooter runnig 50,000 rds through yur gun a year you better have the very best parts in your gun. IF you shoot 200 rds through your shooter a year, maybe you don't have to spend the money for such comfort. One gun goes 20,000 rds without a hic up and the next gun, some make and model chokes after 500.
