I purchased a used Pardus SD Box Magazine fed shotgun and was dismayed to find that no additional magazines are available. That is until Tactical Imports brought in the SAP-6 flat top pump. The box mag on it looked to be very similar so I ordered and received four. Apart from the small AK type lip on the Pardus the SAP-6 is identical. It is however a six shot mag and needs limited. The Pardus mag had a 1/4 square rod welded to the plate under that fits into the follower that had limited it to four. As this was a PIA I cut the rod off and then drilled holes in the mag body on the spine to limit it to 5 1/2 rounds ( 1.221" ) and 2 1/2 rounds ( 3.8155" ). The mags all fit but without the lip rock forward a little. The measurements are taken from the bottom of the mag with the plate still attached. They do feed dummy pounds but will be taking them out Sunday for a true fire test. Hope this helps anyone in the same predicament If anyone has a Manual on this firearm could they send a copy to rigrat@shaw.ca as
Shot some skeet on Sunday. The mags functioned fine for the first two or tree loads then started falling out when the gun was fired. They would not come out manually. I will have to put a small block on the front of the mag similar to the original and that will fix the problem. All in all they are still a good choice.
