I received this news from an Ontario Hotshot news service:

Sat. 9/29 8:58PM

6 Natives shot a bull moose in Algonquin Park, they threatened to shoot a park warden, he backed off.

OPP, 4 x CO's and more on the way, shots just now fired at Conservation Officers.

Park Wardens being chased by suspects!

Update: TRU Team is enroute....

9:19PM

Suspects went up Hogan Lake Road from Shirly Lake Rd, it's a dead end, so the plan is to block the road with spike belts, and take cover with long guns, and wait for TRU to arrive...

9:56PM

Blown through the spike belt - one female in the vehicle, armed and intox

10:35PM

Update: Female is 253 and the male says she is CRAZY. She is refusing to leave the truck. TRU/ERT/K9 are all enroute. Seems like this is going to be a long night.

11:05 PM

Female Suspect 10-92 without incident.

And so ends that.

Question: Must Native People have a PAL? Must they register their firearms? Are they exempt? Do MNR's have authority over them?

Yup they need PAL,and registered arms.I have heard they are exempt above north of the 60th.Not sure if that is factual.

Well Randy maybe, but probably not, the cops wouldnt do anything more than they did afterall its some poor indian thats been mistreated by society and at every corner of his life been wronged, even here I dont get mad at RCMP anymore the guys have thrown in the towel, they arrest a native for stabing someone to death and the court lets them out 2 days later, the courts need to grow some balls and start hanging these F@ckers !
