Parker Hale 1200 30-06/270 Mag

Anyone have an inside track on where to find one? I haven't had much luck on EE.... Hoping someone else may have a scoop on one. I want to buy one for my dad for christmas.

For a magazine only, I would try Western Gunparts or the EE....

I have been in contact with a chap in England regarding the magazines for the PH rifles. Working on the export details.

The spare mags are like Hen's teeth kind of like the one I found for my Tikka M-65..took me 3 years to find one and then paid a premium for it.

I had a PH with an extra mag got lots of interest on it. Nobody wants to sell their spare mags because you lose one then your SOL.

OP, it seems strange (to me anyway) that you would be looking for a magazine for a Christmas present . . . did you mean you need a .30/06 or a .270 magazine for a PH 1200 or are you looking for a PH 1200 rifle in .30/06 or .270 magnum? The confusion is that there was no commercial .270 magnum other than the Weatherby which was not offered by ParkerHale.

If you are in search of a magazine, it supports my notion that a hinged floorplate, which the PH 1200 originally came with, can't be lost.
